Hello,
We are currently seeking a volunteer to assist us with database support. This position requires discretion due to the sensitive and confidential nature of our information and would include tasks like data entry, data maintenance, and light research. We are seeking someone comfortable with computers who has a willingness to learn. We will provide any guidance or training you might need.
If you enjoy behind the scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly, this is a great way to make a meaningful impact. Scheduling is flexible and we can provide services hours and references as needed.

Our community outreach includes school nursing, community health screenings, health education and wellness programs. Over the past 110 years Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County has helped thousands of individuals, and their loved ones cope with terminal illness with comfort, peace and dignity. Joining forces with Waveny in 2021 VNHFC enabled the Waveny volunteer program to expand to offer opportunities at the New Canaan Thrift Shop and as part of the hospice and bereavement support volunteer team.

Our Volunteer program impacts the lives of our patients, residents AND volunteers providing enrichment, social connection, purpose and opportunities to learn and grow while making a difference!
As a nonprofit organization, we are a mission-based provider of healthcare, housing and support services to approximately 2,400 people every year. Waveny relies on our talented staff and hundreds of volunteers to deliver the highest quality of person-centered care every day.
