Join HVNA, Hayes Valley Business Association, Proxy, and more and help volunteer at the annual Hayes Valley Carnival - featuring Circus Bella. We need help running game booths, watching barricades, greeting visitors, interacting with doggies, general cleanup and more. Volunteers are critical to the success of this community run event! Mission Statement
Hayes Promenade envisions a permanently pedestrianized Hayes Street, where people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy a safe, walkable street, to gather, play, shop, dance, and create and enjoy music and art.
Description
The 400 Block of Hayes street is closed on Fridays from 4-10pm and Saturdays from 10am-10pm. We are looking for volunteers to help generate grass-roots events, performances, games, and activations in this shared space.
