The Treasurer for the Medford-Brooks Estate Land Trust (M-BELT) is an officer position on the M-BELT Board.

This person provides financial oversight for the organization, assists with budget creation and tracking, provides financial reporting, and helps solidify standard financial practices for M-BELT.

  • Ability to think critically and strategically
  • Extremely organized
  • Can communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Impeccable financial ethics
  • Strong accounting knowledge (nonprofit accounting experience a plus)

Mission Statement

The Medford-Brooks Estate Land Trust (M-BELT) is dedicated to preserving and restoring the historic Brooks Estate on behalf of the people and the City of Medford as a space for environmental conservation and community enjoyment.

Description

The Medford-Brooks Estate Land Trust (M-BELT) was founded in 1998 and is a successor to the Brooks Estate Preservation Association (BEPA), which led the successful citizen-driven campaign to preserve the Brooks Estate in perpetuity.
