Become a General Volunteer at the upcoming 2025 Fall Tournament!
Special Olympics North Carolina's annual Fall Tournament is returining in the Charlotte area this November! Sign-up to help be a part of the fun and help our talented athletes create long-lasting memories within the community.
Being our second largest state-wide event, we need your help to bring together over 1,000 athletes and Unfiied Partners from across the state to compete in seven different sports over this 3-day event!
Why Volunteer?
No experience is needed - just bring your energy, kindness, and willingness to help!Whether you volunteer for a single shift or the whole weekend, you’ll walk away inspired by the joy, determination, and spirit of our athletes.
Volunteer Opporutinites:
Their are a variety of volunteer opporunties avaible throughout this event! Whether your helping with Athlete check-in, handing awards out to our athletes, or helping to manage/officiate our sporting events, you'll be sure to gain hands-on, meaningul expereicen throhgout your shift. Volunteer for one hour or the entirety of the event - it's up to you!

Mission Statement
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round athletic training and sports competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families and other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
