Behind-the-Scenes Help: Activity Closet Clean-Up!
Looking for a low-pressure way to get involved? Our Activity Closet Clean-Up is perfect for first-time volunteers or anyone who might feel a little nervous visiting a nursing home for the first time.
You’ll be working solo (or bring a friend!) inside our activity supply closet-no direct resident interaction required. Feel free to listen to music, a podcast, or watch a video while you help us get things back in order. Tasks include sorting holiday decorations into labeled bins, checking expiration dates on supplies, testing out old markers, and tidying up materials.
This behind-the-scenes role is incredibly helpful to our team and a great way to ease into volunteering at Byron Health Center. We’ll provide the supplies - just bring your energy and maybe a source of music!
Although rare, all activities are subject to change at any moment. If you signed up for an activity that we need to change, we will inform you immediately.
