Volunteers Are the Heart of Hospice! Eden Hospice relies on volunteer support to provide excellent end-of-life care to our patients and their families. Caregiver Respite

• Assist with light errands
• Do light housekeeping
• Help with meal preparation
• Care for family pets

Administrative Support

• Data entry and filing
• Prepare Mailings
• Calls to patients and caregivers

Direct Patient Support

• Be a peaceful presence
• Offer companionship
• Play cards and games
• Write letters
• Watch movies or television
• Read, create art, or play music with the patient
