Location: On site at Never Alone Community Food Pantry
Days Available: Monday-Saturday
Shifts Available: 8:00 AM-11:00 AM or 12:00 PM-3:00 PM
Overview:
Help us serve our neighbors with dignity and organization by ensuring every guest is scheduled and reminded for their food pantry visit. You’ll play a vital role in our front-line communications team by setting appointments and making friendly reminder calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outgoing calls to schedule appointments for pantry guests
- Place reminder calls to guests with upcoming appointments
- Record call outcomes and update scheduling information accurately
- Represent Never Alone with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Work with staff and volunteers to troubleshoot scheduling issues if needed
Qualifications:
- Clear, friendly, and compassionate phone communication skills
- Comfortable using a phone and simple digital tools (training provided)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect all guests
- Dependable and punctual
- Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus, but not required
Time Commitment:
- Choose a shift: Morning (8:00 AM-11:00 AM) or Afternoon (12:00 PM-3:00 PM)
- Flexible frequency (1-3 times per week preferred, but we’ll work with your availability)
- Monday through Saturday shifts available
