Murphy Charitable Foundation Uganda is seeking experienced, passionate, and dedicated volunteer developers to join our team working on the Kind Giving App, a digital platform designed to revolutionize charitable giving by connecting donors directly to vulnerable individuals in need, even in remote communities with only 2G/3G access.

We are in the final stages of development and need skilled developers with at least 2+ years of experience in either React (front-end) or Django (back-end) or both to help us finalize and refine the platform.

What We’re Looking For:
i) React Developers with strong experience in building modern, responsive, and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
ii) Django Developers with solid back-end development skills, database design, and API integration.
iii) Developers with full-stack capabilities are highly encouraged to apply.
iv) A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in software development.
v) Ability to work well in a collaborative, remote team and communicate effectively.
vi) A deep passion for using technology to drive social change.
vii) Commitment to quality, security, and scalability.

What You'll Do:
i) Collaborate with our existing development team to complete and polish the app for launch.
ii) Help build and optimize core features that facilitate donations, campaign tracking, beneficiary wallet access, and reporting.
iii) Ensure the app functions smoothly even on low-bandwidth (2G/3G) networks and basic mobile devices.
iv) Write clean, secure, and maintainable code that will be used by thousands across rural Uganda.
v) Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment discussions.

Your contribution will directly impact millions of lives, helping to deliver essential support like food, education, healthcare, and emergency aid to those who need it most.

Description
