Our team is collaborative, compassionate, and committed to making a real difference-while having fun and supporting each other along the way! Volunteer Opportunity:
Are you passionate about using technology for good? Do you enjoy building automations that make life easier for teams and audiences? WE, The World is seeking a volunteer Email Automation Specialist to help us streamline our communications, engage supporters, and boost our impact. What You’ll Do:

  • Design and build email automation workflows (welcome emails, event reminders, donor thank-yous, etc.)
  • Integrate our email platform (Mailchimp, Google Workspace, or similar) with other tools (like Zapier, WooCommerce, Basecamp, Google Drive)
  • Collaborate with our communications and fundraising teams to optimize engagement and conversion rates
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing automations
  • Document processes and create simple guides for staff/volunteers
Who You Are:
  • Familiar with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp)
  • Comfortable with workflow automation tools (Zapier)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a great communicator
  • Excited to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Bonus: Basic understanding of APIs/integrations

Imagine 4 times a year, groups like MoveOn, Greenpeace and Amnesty International coordinating their action campaigns with hundreds of other global organizations, thousands of smaller groups and millions of people around the world, shifting societal consciousness and creating political will.

We, The World has developed the Strategic Alliances and has the team to achieve that level of global collaboration and effectiveness. In 2004, We, The World launched 11 Days of Global Unity which now annually has more than 700 associated events in over 60 countries. WE Campaign is based on the successful model of 11 Days of Global Unity Campaign.
