Volunteering with the Gardening Team at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden is a joyful way to roll up your sleeves and connect deeply with nature, whether you're tending to the lush ornamental beds or digging into the terrace food gardens. Under the guidance of the horticulture director, you’ll spend designated "Garden Force" mornings (March through September) planting, weeding, composting, and learning hands-on techniques. It’s a fulfilling mix of camaraderie, fresh air, and nature education, perfect for green-thumbed newbies and seasoned gardeners alike, plus you’ll meet a community of dedicated volunteers and earn specialized training while helping nurture this beautiful high-desert oasis.
