R&R Ministries is a faith-based non-profit organization headquartered in Plano, Texas, that exists to provide comprehensive job training programs, job placement assistance, free counseling, and discipleship, all aimed at empowering people in need to build a sustainable future and abundant life. Our clients face significant barriers to successful, long-term employment-homelessness, prior incarceration, difficult life circumstances-and we aim to help them overcome these challenges through our Workplace Compentencies curriculum.
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Work Readiness Instructor to facilitate one Workplace Competencies class per week. In this role, you will:
- Assist with lesson delivery and help students understand and apply content.
- Create engaging supplemental activities to enhance student learning (e.g., role playing).
- Manage attendance and student progress tracking.
- Joyfully create a welcoming and encouraging environment.

We strive to be that bridge, guiding those eager to ignite their futures toward sustainability. Our holistic approach combines stable employment with ongoing emotional and spiritual support. Our calling is deeply rooted in Matthew 25, where Jesus implores His followers to care for the least of these. In response to this call, we intentionally partner with relief ministries that serve the homeless, formerly incarcerated, trafficked individuals, refugees, and legal migrants. Our mission is to help them recognize their identity in Christ and guide them toward a life of abundance in Him and through work.
