As a Direct Patient Volunteer with Live Well Hospice, you’ll provide meaningful companionship to patients in their homes or in care facilities. Your visits may include reading aloud, sharing stories, listening, engaging in light conversation, or doing simple arts and crafts together. This role is all about being present-offering comfort, kindness, and a caring heart during a sacred time in someone’s life. Volunteers do not provide medical or personal care, but your presence can bring peace and joy to both patients and their families. Flexible scheduling available. Training is provided. The locations vary depending on the needs of the patients.
