KEEN Chicago provides free sports and recreational programs for youth with disabilities. We have a traditional sports program in the gym as well as programming in areas such as bowling, soccer, dance, and yoga. On this program date, we're going to the beach! Volunteers will be paired 1:1 with Athletes during our sessions. Volunteers are needed on-site to assist with water safety, ensuring Athletes remain in the play area, and providing assistance and support to our Athletes who may need extra help in order to participate in the activities.

KEEN serves individuals with such diverse disabilities as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and various developmental and intellectual disabilities. KEEN's mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of our athletes through non-competitive activities, allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals.
