ORGANIZATION: Phayao Education for the Future Foundation (PEFF)
Please visit the new page to apply.

Located in the North of Thailand, the Phayao Education for the Future Foundation (PEFF) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to improve education opportunities and the quality of life of underprivileged children and youths in the rural areas of Phayao Province. With the support of our local and foreign volunteers, we are dedicated to give our students the necessary life skills and knowledge that they can utilize to enhance their lives and the lives of their families and community.
We are currently welcoming volunteers to assist us in several rural public schools that are in need of support with English language teaching. Our international volunteers are placed in these schools to work alongside Thai English teachers in the classroom, helping to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of students and their families.
We invite you to come and teach Basic English to students from Kindergarten to Year 9 at one of our countryside schools. No knowledge of Thai is required.
We are looking for fluent English speakers to help our students develop basic conversational and verbal communication skills. As a volunteer, you will engage directly with the students, with a local teacher present in the classroom to assist you whenever needed. While prior teaching experience is an advantage, it is not essential-what matters most is your enthusiasm and willingness to help.
This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Thai culture and language. You’ll have the chance to learn about local traditions, history, and cuisine while enjoying the peaceful rural setting surrounded by lush greenery, rice fields, and fruit farms.
Our host community will prepare a variety of delicious Thai dishes for you, and you’ll be invited to explore historical sites, enjoy local life, and even visit nearby tourist attractions. We are more than happy to help you make the most of your experience here in Phayao Province.
