Santa Fe Botanical Garden offers a vibrant array of seasonal and special events - each a wonderful opportunity to volunteer and be part of the community’s connection to nature, art, and celebration.
In spring, the Garden Egg Hunt brings families together for a joyful morning of exploration and crafts, with volunteers helping to hide eggs, greet guests, and support activities. Summer features the Sunset Concert Series, where volunteers assist with evening performances under the stars-welcoming attendees, guiding parking, and supporting setup in a relaxed, musical atmosphere. Autumn brings festive family programming around Halloween, where volunteers help create a welcoming environment for seasonal crafts, costumes, and garden fun.
During the holiday season, La Luz de las Noches transforms the Garden into a glowing landscape of farolitos, lights, music, and warmth-volunteers play a key role in greeting guests, offering wayfinding, and supporting performances and refreshments.
Additionally, the Garden hosts weddings and private events throughout the year, offering volunteers the chance to help with setup, guest support, and logistics in one of Santa Fe’s most scenic venues. Whether you're volunteering at a concert, special celebration, or major public event, your time and energy help make each experience memorable while supporting the Garden’s mission of education, conservation, and community engagement.
