Volunteer Opportunity in Butler County: Make a New Friend, Make a Difference
The Best Buddies Citizens program in Butler County is looking for adults (18+) who want to make a meaningful impact through friendship. This one-to-one adult friendship program pairs individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) based on shared interests, age, and location. It’s designed for those who are not already involved in a school-based Best Buddies program and are seeking genuine social connection in adulthood.
Friends commit to meeting up at least monthly for activities they enjoy-like grabbing coffee, attending community events, or going for a walk. Matches last for a full year and can be renewed. Best Buddies also hosts monthly quarterly social events in Butler County to help friendships grow and stay active.
We’ll guide you through the multi-step application process, which includes an online form, background check, and virtual interview. If you’re looking for a fun, flexible, and truly meaningful way to make a difference in your community-this is it.
