We are looking for someone with a background of working with those who are unhoused or may be struggling with mental illnesses or substance use. This volunteer will work closely with staff to help deescalate any situation that may arise within our Pantry or Clothing Closet. They will also help monitor our front door when our programs are open to the public. We are a typically quiet site but have had instances where we have had to call 911 for clients. Retired police, social workers, and mental health professionals encouraged to apply!
