We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Chair to join us in our pursuit to provide epic adventures for neurodivergent teens in Anne Arundel County. We strive to create a safe space for our teens to explore new challenges that help to build confidence, physical strength and endurance, and make social connections with their peers. We are in our 4th year of operation and we are growing by leaps and bounds. We need assitance in finding new ways to raise the much needed funds to continue to grow and expand to serve even more kids in Maryland and across the country!

Using adventure therapy to help teens break through social, emotional, physical, and intellectual barriers through outdoor, adventure-driven experiences that foster personal growth, social connection and life skills.
Description
We have created a culture of empowerment where young people with different abilities feel confident, respected, and supported through accessible opportunities outside their personal comfort zone; where they can be accepted for who they are without having to change to fit in; and where friendship is built on shared experiences that challenge them socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually alongside their peers.
We host 1-3 adventures per week for 12-16 teens with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, Down Syndrome, and other diagnoses. Our adventures include hiking, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, rockwall climbing, laser tag, oyster gardening, indoor experiences, local attractions, historical landmark visits, and more.
