About Here Is Hope

Location:

5634 S Sailors Reef Rd, Tempe, AZ 85283, US

Mission Statement

To restore dignity, cultivate purpose, and extend hope to vulnerable populations through compassionate outreach, practical support, and transformational community.

Description

Here Is Hope was born from a lived experience - a small-town story with a big God and a bigger heart for community.

Our Founder and Executive Director grew up in a close-knit neighborhood in Southern Louisiana. Though rich in love, it was a place where opportunities were scarce and struggle was common. But everything changed when she stepped through the doors of The Hope Center - a local community outreach that didn’t just provide food or tutoring, but provided a place to belong, to believe, and to become.

There, she found more than resources - she found purpose. As a teen, she began helping distribute weekly food boxes and pray with elderly neighbors. She mentored younger kids after school, helped with homework, and saw firsthand the transformation that happens when people are empowered through love, structure, and support.

Now, that same vision lives on in Tempe, Arizona - through Here Is Hope.

This is more than a nonprofit. It’s a movement. And you’re invited to be part of it.
