This role would involve keeping records of Velocity's financial accounts, coordinating with Velocity's business managers and accountant, preparing an annual budget, paying bills, and providing monthly financial reports at board meetings on the third Monday of the month.

Our mission is to grow and empower an inclusive biking community through education and affordability. We promote bicycling as a low-cost, sustainable, and healthy mode of transportation and recreation. We reduce waste by using recycled materials and directing unusable bicycle components to a metal recycling facility.
Description
Vélocity Bicycle Cooperative is a local nonprofit that refurbishes used bicycles, selling hundreds of bikes each year for affordable prices while donating over 100 bikes a year to individuals in challenging financial circumstances. No experience is required to volunteer with us. Come on down, make new friends, mess with bikes!
