Our mission is to grow and empower an inclusive biking community through education and affordability. We promote bicycling as a low-cost, sustainable, and healthy mode of transportation and recreation. We reduce waste by using recycled materials and directing unusable bicycle components to a metal recycling facility.

Description

Vélocity Bicycle Cooperative is a local nonprofit that refurbishes used bicycles, selling hundreds of bikes each year for affordable prices while donating over 100 bikes a year to individuals in challenging financial circumstances. No experience is required to volunteer with us. Come on down, make new friends, mess with bikes!
