Crisis Response Teams (CRTs), operate out of each police department in Morris County. Each team consists of a group of volunteers who provide information and support to victims. Their assistance has been imperative in strengthening and diversifying victims' support systems.

CRT volunteers respond to the police department to provide support, education on domestic violence, community resources and a safety plan.

CRT's must be at least 21 years old.

Bilingual Volunteers Are Needed!

The mission of JBWS is the prevention of domestic violence through the protection and empowerment of the victim, the rehabilitation of family members, and the education of the public about domestic violence and its consequences.

JBWS is a full-service, private, nonprofit domestic violence agency. We offer a 24 hour, free and confidential helpline, emergency safe house for victims and their children, counseling and legal assistance, children's services, transitional housing, life-skills education, vocational counseling, community education, training for professionals, teenage dating abuse prevention, primary prevention and batterers' intervention.
