Educational Content Specialist
Type: Part-Time | Remote
Reports to: Program Director
What You’ll Do:
Align games to academic and social-emotional goals
Design puzzles, math logic, and reading comprehension challenges
Collaborate on mentor/facilitator guides for gameplay sessions
Co-create youth-facing learning objectives with warmth and clarity
We’re Looking For:
Experience in curriculum design or edtech
Familiarity with K-8 ELA, math, or SEL standards
Passion for culturally relevant pedagogy
Bonus: Classroom or shelter-based program experience

Description
We partner with family temporary housing sites across New York, educational institutions, and community organizations to create a strong support network for young people experiencing homelessness, helping them overcome challenges and forge their own path to success. We connect students with our mentors for in-person and online programs.
