Calling all artists and changemakers! FoodCycle LA is inviting you to design original artwork that represents their mission: Feed people, not landfills.
Why: Help FoodCycle LA by using your creativity. Winners will receive prizes and have their design featured at community events where we'll screen print onto shirts, totes, posters, and more!
Who: FoodCycle LA works to reduce landfill gas emissions by partnering with local food retailers to prevent food waste in Los Angeles.
What to Expect:
Create a design that reflects the power of food recovery to combat climate change and reduce food insecurity -- bold, positive, and community-driven.
Designs should reflect our mission inspire action
What's Required:
Submit by: August 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Use our colors: black, green, red, orange, yellow
File types: PNG, PDF, or PSD | 300 DPI recommended
Original and appropriate for all audiences

FoodCycle is building an infrastructure to reduce waste and intelligently route surplus food-whether it’s to people’s plates or composting. Through our efforts, we’re changing individual behaviors, and ultimately, we'll change the culture around food waste.
Description
FoodCycle is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to help further our mission in fighting hunger and ending food waste. We need volunteers on an ongoing basis to recover food from various restaurants, grocery stores, and food markets around Los Angeles. In addition to Food Recovery Drivers, we are looking for assistance building up our social media presence across all platforms.
