ORGANIZATION: Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System

Would like the opportunity to give back to our nations' Heroes? Are you a friendly "people person" who enjoys meeting and assisting people? Come and join our very special group of Red Coat Ambassadors. Red Coat Ambassadors are the "front line" of customer service to our Veterans. They greet Veterans and guests whent they arrive, assist Veterans, families and visitors with directions to their appointment location or walk them to the location, transport Veterans who need wheel chair assistance to their clinic appointments, answer general questions, provide information, make coffee when it's available and help with comfort cart rounding to give out coffee or other snacks when donated, answer phone calls, and overall provide an excellent and polite experience to our Veterans and guests.

The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System provides you with outstanding health care, trains America’s future health care providers, and conducts important medical research.

Health care and services

We provide you with health care services at 5 locations along the U.S. Gulf Coast. Our facilities include our Biloxi VA Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi and 4 community-based outpatient clinics in Mobile, Alabama; Pensacola and Panama City, Florida; and at Florida’s Eglin Air Force Base.
