Seeking a team that can craete branding for an exciting opportunity happening November 11, 2025 which is Veterans Day.
Dear Supporters
I am writing to you personally because of an incredible thing on the horizon for Top Dogg K9 Foundation. For the first time in its history, 11Alive (the Atlanta NBC affiliate) will hold a Veterans Day telethon this year. The sole beneficiary of the telethon will be Top Dogg K9 Foundation. This has taken an enormous amount of work on the part of our foundation to bring this historical event to fruition. With that, I am asking YOU, as a past supporter of our organization, to take part. The opportunities are endless, as we will have live reports in every hour of 11Alive’s newscasts on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 highlighting our program and the veterans who benefit. Depending on your organization’s level of involvement, we are extending to you the exclusive opportunity to present a check live on the air during Veterans Day. What better day of the year for this to happen than on a day that honors U.S. military veterans. We promise the exposure for your organization will allow you to reach thousands of viewers during 11Alive’s broadcasts, and show how your generosity will further our reach into the veteran community.
As you know, Top Dogg is dedicated to helping our war veterans suffering from mental health issues by providing them with a service dog, at no charge to them. We can only do this due to the generosity of our community. With the telethon, we hope to be able to find a new home for our organization - one that provides our K9s with the freedom to learn service dog training at a new facility free from the distractions that we currently face in our current facility. I invite you to come tour our current facility, see the plans for our new home, and help us make our dream for a better future that benefits more veterans a reality. TDK9 is meeting the critical needs of disabled veteran families and local communities. Our mission is to reduce the number of military families that are impacted by suicide due to mental illness each year.
Description
Top Dogg K9 Foundation (TDK9) meets the critical needs of disabled veterans in Georgia. We are the emerging leading support center for veterans as we work within our community to reduce the number of military families impacted by suicide due to mental illness each year. TDK9 stands on the principle that Veterans Deserve Outstanding Generosity and Service (VDOGS). We support this principle by rescuing, training, and pairing suitable dogs with disabled veterans and those struggling with mental health challenges post-deployment for a happier, healthier, and more balanced life. TDK9 provides dog training, referrals for support/social services, canine therapy workshops as well as social support and networking opportunities for veterans with veterans. We provide these life-changing services to veterans at no cost to them. Donations & income generated by boarding, grooming & training for the public allows us to fulfill our mission. We are proud to not only provide canine companions and service aids to our deserving veterans but to also offer greater linkage to care and social services for their families and serve as a safe haven and conduit for emotional wellness for those utilizing our services. We also educate the community at large on the challenges our warriors face, including physical, mental health, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Military Sexual Trauma, depression, and other common diagnoses soldiers face after deployment.
