Mission Statement
Resilient Communities Aid Organisation is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities in Uganda by providing essential support in education, healthcare, water and sanitation, agriculture, and economic empowerment. We strive to uplift individuals and families by promoting sustainable development and community-led initiatives that address poverty, inequality, and health disparities.
Description
Founded in 2021, Resilient Communities Aid Organisation (ReCAO) was established to address critical needs in rural Uganda. Our flagship GIRL OUTREACH PROJECT (GOP), under the EQUIP program, supports girls’ education by providing menstrual health supplies, reducing absenteeism, and promoting inclusive learning. Recognizing the interconnected challenges communities face, we launched the CHAMP program in 2022 to improve maternal-child health, nutrition, WASH, and economic resilience. CHAMP delivers medical outreaches, people with disabilities safe birth support, nutrition aid, and hygiene education while empowering families through vocational training and microloans. ReCAO is now expanding into sustainable agriculture and youth-women empowerment. We remain committed to co-creating locally led, holistic solutions that foster long-term development and resilience.
