Are you passionate about building scientific capacity in Ghana and across Africa? Are you excited at the prospect to help train the next generation of African scientists, biotech startups and investment into the continent? Are you interested in using your social media skills to make a difference?

If so, we’d love to have you on board! We - the Sena Institute of Technology Foundation - are looking for Volunteer Social Media Marketers to help us promote our educational, training, and collaborative projects to empower and support West African scientists. Promoting our events to individual scientists and institutions is a key lever through which we make an impact. We are looking for highly motivated candidates looking to improve their social media and communications skills, and we will provide a supportive environment for those eager to learn!

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for motivated, ambitious volunteers who want to make a difference. The ideal volunteer should possess great written English communication skills, is enthusiastic about science and building scientific capacity, and is a great team player. Passion is key: we can teach marketing skills, but you need to bring the motivation and willingness to learn.
