Are you passionate about building scientific capacity in Ghana and across Africa? Are you excited at the prospect to help train the next generation of African scientists, biotech startups and investment into the continent? Are you interested in using your writing skills to make a difference?
If so, we’d love to have you on board! We - the Sena Institute of Technology Foundation - are looking for Volunteer Grant Writers to help us prepare applications to funding bodies. These grants are essential for our educational, training, and collaborative efforts between African universities and institutions and their overseas counterparts. We are looking for highly motivated candidates looking to improve their grant writing skills, and will provide a supportive environment for those eager to learn!
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for motivated, ambitious volunteers who want to make a difference. The ideal volunteer should possess great written English communication skills, is enthusiastic about science and building scientific capacity, and is a great team player. Passion is key: we can teach grant writing skills, but you need to bring the motivation and willingness to learn.
