Artists Talk On Art - NYC's longest-running art forum - is seeking a passionate Social Media Associate Volunteer to amplify our exciting phase of renewal and positive change.
What You'll Do:
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Promote our biweekly Zoom panels and contemporary art discussions]
- Develop visual storytelling that captures ATOA's critical dialogue
- Collaborate with our Programming Curator and board members
- Help expand our digital community of art enthusiasts
We're Looking For:
- Digital natives with social media marketing experience
- Art lovers interested in contemporary/modern art dialogue
- Creative storytellers who can translate complex art concepts into compelling posts
- Self-starters who thrive in collaborative, remote environments
- Detail-oriented individuals available for 3-5 hours/week
Bonus Points:
- Experience with art institutions, galleries, or cultural organizations
- Background in art history, communications, or related field
- Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Understanding of arts community engagement
Remote Position - NYC-based preferred but not required
Flexible schedule with Wednesday evening event promotion focus

Artists Talk On Art (ATOA) presents critical discussions on aesthetic opinions and best practices among artists and throughout the art community.
Description
Founded in 1974, ATOA is the art world's longest running and most prolific panel discussion series. Over 8,500 artists and other art world members have been presented and documented in more than 1,400 events in New York City. The Archive of American Art of the Smithsonian is the official depository of all past and future ATOA audio and visual materials.
