Resilience offers internship programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an unpaid Supply Chain Manager Intern. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Research and Development to plan and implement supply chain strategies, optimize processes, and build strong relationships with vendors. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management and contribute to the overall success of Resilience Inc. Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Director of Research and Development and attend regular development meetings.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
  • Identify and determine key supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and measure performance.
  • Suggest and implement solutions for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and proactively implement timely solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide training and evaluate team members' performance, offering constructive feedback for their development.
  • Work closely with finance, sales, and manufacturing teams to determine the best vendors and distributors for the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and reliable supply of materials and services.
  • Leverage supply chain management software, such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, or similar tools, to streamline processes and enhance visibility.
  • Demonstrate a sense of ownership and pride in your performance, understanding its impact on Resilience's success.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a team player, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a relevant field.
Requirements:
  • Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain management software, such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, or comparable systems, is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and pride in performance, with a focus on achieving Resilience's success.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address supply chain challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Good time-management skills to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

The organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. Resilience also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being.
