Resilience offers internship programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an unpaid Logistics Specialist Intern. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistical aspects of our product's lifecycle, from design to disposal. You will research and implement efficient storage and transportation methods, develop relationships with clients and suppliers, and coordinate the delivery of products to our valued customers. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics management and contribute to the smooth operation of Resilience Inc. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the logistics of a product's lifecycle, ensuring smooth flow from design to disposal.
  • Research and identify the most effective storage and transportation methods for essential supplies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to foster effective collaboration.
  • Oversee warehouse staff, ensuring proper shipping, receiving, and storage of supplies.
  • Plan and schedule the delivery of products to clients, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their delivery requirements and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, for data management and communication purposes.
  • Utilize cargo management software and PC computer systems for efficient logistics coordination (previous knowledge preferred).
  • Demonstrate great interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Display well-developed motivational and leadership skills to inspire and guide warehouse staff.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear and concise information exchange.
Preferred Qualities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in logistics management or coordination is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Well-developed motivational and leadership skills to inspire and guide warehouse staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear and concise information exchange.

The organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. Resilience also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being.
