Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide year-round, free tax return preparation and education for low- and middle-income families, individuals and seniors. Our tax preparation and education services help the financially vulnerable avoid predatory service providers, while helping them improve their knowledge and personal financial capabilities.

Description

In Northern Colorado, during the 2024 tax filing season, we prepared nearly 1400 federal and state returns, saving taxpayers an estimated $810,000 in preparation fees and helping them claim more than $1,300,000 in total refunds. The estimated economic impact exceeded $1,950,000.

We collaborate with other agencies to provide comprehensive services and education for families working to achieve financial self-sufficiency. Since 2016, we’ve maintained a year-round presence in the House of Neighborly Service Life Center in Loveland, as one of only a few year-round VITA/TCE sites in the Front Range area.
