Maybelle Center is celebrating Portland PRIDE this year and to make it a great success, we need your help! We’re looking for volunteers to take shifts at our booth inside the festival at Tom McCall Waterfront Park on Saturday July 19th and Sunday July 20th. This is a great way to show support, share our mission, and connect with the community. Our available slots are listed below.
We need help with setting up and tearing down on both days, as noted, and working the booth. That means you will talk to people about Maybelle Center and what we do, share literature, ask festival goers to sign up to volunteer, donate or become members by using a QR code with their cell phones. We will show you how to do that on-site as needed.
Available shifts:
Saturday, July 19th:
Set-Up and booth- 11:30AM to 2:30PM - 2 spots open
Booth - 4PM to 6:30PM - 1 spot open
Booth and tear-down - 6PM to 8:30PM - 2 spots open
Sunday, July 20th:
Booth - 1PM to 3:30PM - 1 spot open
Booth - 3PM to 5:30PM - 1 spot open
Booth and tear down - 4PMto 6:30PM - 2 spots open
Help us represent, spread joy, and celebrate belonging for all. Sign up for a shift and be a part of this year's PRIDE celebration.
Thank you very much for your support to make this happen!
