Positions Needed: 19 volunteers needed to help run a carnival

Time: 10am - 4pm
Location: Oakland
Summer is here and we are seeking volunteers to help faciliate a carnival for our residents! We need volunteers to help with games, food stations, and various activities. We need your help to make it a success. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wonderful cause of building community and lifelong memories for our residents. You will also gain valuable experience and meet new people in the community.
Requirements:
- Volunteers must complete volunteer forms prior to beginning their placement.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Description
The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
