The Lupus Research Alliance (LRA) is hosting their Virtual Walk with Us to Cure Lupus event on Saturday, Ocotber 18, 2025 with a 9:30 am EST start time from New York City. We will livestream on Instagram with volunteers and team captains from around the world!
We are looking for advocates to join our Walk Committee and help us spread the word in your local community. We can provide materials for you to post on social media and within your town. We also need team captains and walkers to assist with raising funds and awareness. 100% of all donations received goes directly to support lupus research as our Board of Directors funds all our administrative and fundraising costs.

The mission of the Lupus Research Alliance (LRA) is to find better treatments and ultimately prevent and cure systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE or lupus), a debilitating autoimmune disease, by supporting medical research.
Description
The Lupus Research Alliance (LRA) is a national voluntary health organization based in New York City that was founded in 1999 and is chaired by Robert Wood Johnson IV, a member of the founding family of Johnson & Johnson. By committing millions of dollars to significant lupus research every year and holding nationwide lupus walks to secure additional funding, the ALR is proactively battling lupus.
