Join the Planning Team for the 2026 LUNG FORCE Run/Walk 5K!
Event Date: May 2, 2026 @ 8 am to 12 pm
The American Lung Association is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to help make our 2026 LUNG FORCE Run/Walk 5K a memorable and impactful event!
We’re assembling a dynamic Event Planning Cabinet and are looking for individuals with experience or interest in the following area:
SPONSORSHIP Chair
* Assist in acquiring monetary and in-kind donations
* Creates list of potential donors and sponsors
* Utilizes their network to cultivate new sponsors
* Write Thank You Cards at the end of the event
This is a great opportunity to use your skills, meet like-minded individuals, and make a real difference in the fight against lung disease.

- We meet monthly for 1.5 hours from October 2025 to May 2026, with an average total commitment of 4–5 hours per month, including meetings and task support. Volunteers are welcome to contribute additional time if they’re able and interested.
- Must be able to attend monthly meetings in person or virtually. Must have the ability to support outside of meetings (dependent on their role on the cabinet).
