About the Role
Help save lives - without ever touching a needle! Our Donor Ambassadors are the welcoming face of the Red Cross at blood drives. From greeting donors to handing out snacks afterward, you’ll help ensure every donor has a positive, safe experience.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Greet and check in blood donors
Help maintain donor flow and scheduling
Monitor the refreshment area and check for donor reactions
Support appointment reminders and future registrations
Requirements:
Must be 16 years or older
Commit to a training shift and at least two blood drives per month for 3+ months
Friendly, dependable, and flexible
Strong communication and customer service skills
