The Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society (MCRS) is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented volunteer to organize and manage our monthly Bunny Nail Trim events in Golden Valley. These events provide an essential service to local rabbit owners while helping raise funds and awareness for MCRS.

Location: Golden Valley, MN

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate monthly nail trim events (typically one per month)

• Communicate with volunteer trimmers to confirm availability and assign time slots

• Manage the event schedule including patron appointments, waitlists, and cancellations

• Serve as the point of contact for patrons, trimmers, and facility staff before and during the event

• Collect payments/donations and track transactions accurately

• Ensure smooth event flow and positive experiences for both volunteers and attendees

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfortable interacting with the public and MCRS team members

• Reliable and able to manage logistics with minimal supervision

• Basic knowledge of rabbit care is helpful but not required

• Ability to use email, online forms, or basic scheduling tools

Training and Support: MCRS will provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role, including past event materials and access to team members who have organized in the past.

Time Commitment: ~1 event per month, ongoing
