Mission Statement
To equip vulnerable children with essential, durable resources--packaged in portable, tiered backpacks--ensuring equitable access to education, hygiene, nutrition, and safety.
Description
Organizational Overview & History
Invicta Child Foundation was established in Nairobi in 2014 by Stanley Wanga and a coalition of educators, health professionals, and community leaders alarmed by the persistent challenges faced by vulnerable children. Early interventions in Kisumu, Nakuru, and Mombasa offered literacy camps, nutrition support, and child protection workshops. Despite initial impact, funding constraints led to a hiatus in 2019.
In 2025, Invicta reemerged with a streamlined mission: to deliver Bags of Hope , a tiered, portable kit model designed to remove barriers to education, health, and wellbeing across Kenya. Drawing on lessons from pilot programs and global best practices, we now combine rigorous data collection with deep community partnerships to scale sustainably.
