The Chosen Ones, Inc. is seeking passionate and committed volunteer mentors for our B.A.G.S. (Bonding, Awareness, Guidance, Support) Mentoring Program - a unique initiative designed to strengthen the bond between mothers and daughters ages 12-17 while building confidence, connection, and community.

As a mentor, you’ll help families explore vital topics such as self-esteem, healthy boundaries, academic success, financial literacy, and mental wellness.

Mentor Roles Available:

  • 1-on-1 Mentors - Paired with one girl to provide monthly guidance

  • Group Mentors - Facilitate monthly group sessions with moms & daughters

  • Professional Mentors/Facilitators - Lead one-time sessions in areas such as health, finances, relationships, or mental health

  • Perks of Mentoring:

Sessions:

  • One in-person and one virtual session per month

  • Held at the Stonecrest Library and via Zoom

Requirements:

  • 21+ years old

  • Background check required

  • Must attend orientation & training

  • Committed to supporting families with empathy and respect

Description

The Chosen Ones, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization formed in 2014 by a mother whose daughter experienced exploitation as a teenager. We aim to provide mothers and daughters with bonding opportunities, awareness, guidance, and support (B.A.G.S). B.A.G.S is designed to address the issues surrounding child exploitation and help mothers and daughters alleviate those issues.
