Board Member Role
We are currently seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will help steward the vision and sustainability of Mpowerd while ensuring alignment with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic oversight and support for Mpowerd’s programs and operations

Serve as an ambassador for the organization, helping raise awareness and funding

Participate actively in quarterly board meetings and occasional committee work

Assist in securing financial and in-kind resources

Ensure legal and ethical integrity and maintain accountability

Leverage your expertise and networks to help expand Mpowerd’s reach and impact

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

A passion for uplifting women and families, especially single mothers

Skills or experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, finance, legal, marketing, mental health, or community engagement

A willingness to contribute time, energy, resources, and ideas

Alignment with Mpowerd’s mission and values

Time Commitment:
Approximately 4-6 hours per month, including quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person), committee participation, and support of key events and initiatives.
