ASL / deaf Interpreter

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Idealist.org

Recruiting Organization: Alliance for Community Services

The Alliance for Community Services is a grassroots coalition working for disability justice, racial equity, healthcare for all, and more.

We are seeking qualified persons that can help improve accessibility as an ASL interpreter for various committee and community meetings - mostly remote, but occasionally in-person.

Schedule varies, and you could choose which meetings to help with, based on your own availability.

There are typically 2-4 meetings per month for which we'd want ASL interpretation to ensure our deaf consumers can more fully participate in advocacy and the Alliance community.

Meetings are mostly conducted in English.
