@ Irish American Home Society
Opportunity Works Connecticut will be presenting our Changemaker Awardto Keith McGilvery at our 1st Annual Night to Honor.
This year we will be throwing a gala event at the Irish American Home Society celebrating Keith McGilvery for his unwavering dedication in advocating for our loved ones and neighbors with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Keith has used his platform to spread awareness & support for individuals with "Amazing Abilities" both at Opportunity Works Connecticut, and throughout the entire state.
Keith McGilvery is....
The Good News Guy. Former Emmy-nominated Fox 61 Morning Anchor & CBA Best Anchor Award winner.
Keith began working with Opportunity Works CT during the 2020 holiday season, when he featured our nonprofit agency & the handmade products we make in our Woodshop & Design Departments on his morning news segment. Since then, he has frequently featured us on his platform, supported our shops, and most importantly, he has become a beloved member of the Opportunity Works Connecticut family. His visits bring such joy and excitement to our Individuals. His work has shared our name within households that otherwise would have never found us. Keith is a tireless advocate and champion for every individual in the special needs community, and an obvious guest of honor choice for our 1 st annual A Night to Honor event.
