Help Level Up Our Financial Operations & Make a Global Impact with One Thousand Schools
Our nonprofit is on the rise - and we need a skilled, detail-loving volunteer accountant to help us keep up!
Last year’s major fundraising success has put us on the path to our first official audit, and we’re seeking an experienced financial professional who can help us:
Review and refine our financial operations flow
Prepare for an external audit with confidence
Identify areas for efficiency, clarity, and compliance
Strengthen internal controls for our programs abroad Create streamlined reporting systems that reflect our high-impact, high-integrity mission
We’re a fast-moving, purpose-driven organization that values innovation, flexibility, and accountability. Every dollar we raise goes far - and we’re proud of how lean we run. We want our financial systems to tell that story clearly, and we need the right person to help us do it.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in nonprofit accounting, auditing, or financial systems
Familiarity with international or grant-funded programs a plus
A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for social impact
Comfort with QuickBooks or similar platforms preferred
What We Offer:
A dynamic team making big change in underserved communities
A meaningful project that will support thousands of children
Flexibility, transparency, and a fun, motivated environment
Your time and expertise can help us build a stronger, smarter future. We’ll celebrate your spreadsheets and cheer on your checklists.
Interested? Send us a message with your background and availability. We’d love to meet you!
