Our adopted section of the Boise greenbelt runs through the heart of downtown from Capitol Boulevard to Broadway Avenue. This section is a highly used area and we are looking for volunteers that are passionate about keeping the Boise River clean to join us!
As this volunteer program has grown, we've been able to extend our efforts beyond our adopted section of the greenbelt and we would love to see our impact continue to grow in the Boise area. To join please fill out the Adopt-the-Greenbelt Volunteer sign-up located HERE. Adopt-a-Greenbelt clean-up schedule:- June 18 @ 6PM (Social hour at Matlack's following the cleanup)
- August 3 @ 10AM (breakfast treat + coffee provided -- bring your own coffee cup)
- September 17 @ 6PM (Social hour TBD)
- October 8 @ 5PM

REQUIREMENTS
- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 16
- 1.5-2
- We do accept volunteers under 16 years of age. Volunteers under the age of 16 require a chaperone or parent/guardian to be present. All volunteers must be willing to walk in an outdoor environment through uneven terrain and greenbelt foliage.
