About HELPING OTHERS TOGETHER COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Location:

PO BOX 5424, GOODYEAR, AZ 85338, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to unite volunteer and financial resources to create a magical Christmas experience for struggling children and their families in the West Valley of the Phoenix Metro area.

Description

Helping Others Together (HOT) Community Foundation is a dedicated AZ nonprofit that unites our community to support local children in need. HOT is a 100% volunteer-powered organization. Our Sugar Plum Fairies program delivers a memorable Christmas experience to select West Valley families by providing wrapped gifts of clothing, toys, food, and other essentials. Since our inception, Sugar Plum Fairies has provided a magical Christmas to 958 children and their families. Our goal for 2025 is to give to 300 more children.

Thousands of children attending schools in the West Valley live below the poverty line. We work with school districts and other organizations to identify families who are struggling with low income and dealing with chronic illness, physical disabilities, and/or a family crisis. HOT brings hope to some of these struggling children through their Sugar Plum Fairies holiday giving program.

Our foundation also collaborates with local communities and businesses to raise funds and recruit volunteers, enabling everyone to experience a meaningful contribution, whether through time, talents, or donations. At HOT we believe that together we can make a lasting impact for children and bring hope to our community's most vulnerable.

Bringing joy to all while uniting communities!
