Twin Lights Historical Society Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: TWIN LIGHTS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Please visit the new page to apply.
Through the Twin Lights Historical Society, we have volunteer opportunities, including tending the desk within the museum's store, writing for our website blog, and light house keeping.
Working in the museum store is our most popular and necessary volunteer position, and consists of one, four hour shift a week or more if you are able, greeting visitors as they come in, helping to orient visitors to the site, answering basic historical questions, and checking-out merchandise.
Museum Store Attendant: Our museum store attendants are an essential part of our team! In this volunteer role, you will greet visitors, answer inquiries, process transactions, and help maintain store upkeep and inventory. You have the opportunity to learn as much or as little history of the site as you’d like.
Museum Light House Keeping: Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the museum is crucial. Through this volunteer option, you can assist by sweeping floors, disinfecting surfaces, dusting cases, and organizing store inventory.
