Are you passionate about children’s education and eager to make a real difference-without leaving your home?

Bugolo Junior School serves a vibrant rural community in Uganda, offering quality education to children who face serious challenges accessing basic schooling. Most families struggle to afford tuition, supplies, and meals.

We're seeking kind-hearted volunteers to help us raise awareness and support for our mission. Your role will be to help identify potential donors, craft outreach messages, and share our story in creative ways to invite ongoing sponsorships and one-time donations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support online fundraising campaigns (social media, email, storytelling)

  • Help us list our school on donor platforms or nonprofit directories

  • Reach out to individuals, churches, or small foundations that align with our mission

  • Assist with writing or editing donation appeals or thank-you notes.

About Bugolo Junior School

Location:

Lubya, Kampala, Kampala 30877, UG

Mission Statement

Our mission is to avail the African child with an affordable sound education.

Description

Our school's humble beginnings date back to January 1989, when it was founded with a pioneering spirit and a passion for education. Initially, the school started with just 4 students and 3 dedicated teachers.

In its early days, the school lacked permanent structures, and classes were held in makeshift rooms constructed from papyrus reeds. Despite these challenging circumstances, the school's founders and staff remained committed to providing quality education to their students.

Over the years, the school has experienced significant growth and development, with a steady increase in student enrollment and the addition of new facilities and resources. Today, our school stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication to education.

As a school, we work towards expanding access to quality education for underprivileged students, promoting social mobility and equality.
