Christ-Lee’s Hair Boutique is a nonprofit training salon dedicated to empowering women-including veterans, cancer patients, and underserved community members-by offering affordable, dignity-restoring hair services and cosmetology training.

We are looking for caring, reliable Shampoo Assistant Volunteers to help clients feel refreshed and confident. This is a great opportunity to gain salon experience while supporting an uplifting mission.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Shampoo, condition, and prep clients for stylists

  • Maintain cleanliness in the wash area

  • Provide warm, welcoming customer service

  • Support clients with limited mobility or health challenges (training provided)

Ideal Volunteer:

  • Enjoys working with people

  • Has a background or interest in cosmetology (not required)

  • Can stand for extended periods

  • Is compassionate, punctual, and eager to learn

The Pelagie Resource Center is a non-profit organization based in Conyers, GA, committed to empowering individuals and families facing significant life challenges. Our comprehensive support services focus on providing relief and opportunities for those impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, poverty, and veterans' needs.

Through initiatives such as emergency shelter, workforce development, furniture and identification vouchers, and other essential resources, we aim to uplift and stabilize our clients. We also prioritize collaboration with community partners, businesses, and educational institutions to expand opportunities and strengthen our impact.
