We are looking for a stellar team of volunteers to help pull off a first-of-its-kind in the INW renaissance faire that explores the beliefs, myths, and legends of predominantly northern and western european historical societies. We have an amazing leadership team with decades of relevent experiance in all aspects of the event that is much like a renaissance faire! The team is ready to help people find where they love to fit the best, mentor them into thier roles and support them as we grow.
We are looking for volunteers at every area of event leadership from realm leaders to parking attendants, costuming crew, gate workers and even our hospitality team. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit so we are able to take tax deductable gifts AND offer community service hours as well!
OUR FIRST TWO Volunteer Information Meetings will be
Wednesday, July 9th at 5:30 pm at the Hayden Library in Hayden, Idaho and
Friday, August 1st at 5:30 pm at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library, Downtown

LORE brings the fantasy, magic and mystery of legends, myths, and folklore to life through exciting and immersive education, community interaction, faires, and festivals. By weaving together storytelling, history, and interactive experiences, we inspire curiosity, celebrate cultural heritage, and connect many people with the legends of the past.
Description
LORE launched from a passion for creating wonderful experiences where history can be learned and creativity can be fostered. Our co-executive directors are a powerhouse team with a shared 37 years of renaissance faire experience between them - 18 of those years spent in executive-level leadership. The board is a team of 5 who each have between 15-35 years of experience as well.
We are hosting the first "Echoes of Lore" faire in April 2026 and will be teaching not just of time periods, as many faires do, and not just of the high fantasy of some, but the actual legends, myths and beliefs of a variety of historical societies. We help people explore the past, mentor today and grow for the future all while aiming for authenticity and transparency in all of our dealings.
